The teachers selected from the regions (14x10) were provided with laptops, routers and separate SIM cards provided by JICA as part of the project “Strengthening the capacity of teachers to overcome public education challenges during the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic”.

Thanks to this project, teachers have improved their knowledge, skills and competencies. At the same time, they learned about the quality of additional literature and educational projects in the education system, as well as the development of private education.

Aziza Pardaeva Rakhmatullaevna, English teacher of 42-school in Samarkand:

- First of all, I would like to thank all the specialists who worked on organizing these courses for teachers, the Ministry of Public Education, the Innovation, Technology and Strategy Center, in particular, in cooperation with the Japanese organization JICA in the field of public education. I would like to express my gratitude to the teachers for organizing the project “Building the capacity of teachers to solve problems”.

Last year, a period of testing began for all mankind, that is, the spread of the disease. This pandemic has caused a number of socio-economic problems around the world. We also faced a number of educational challenges. In my opinion, this project was aimed at filling the education gaps for teachers and students during a pandemic. In my work, I used the opportunities of distance learning, coaching and team management a lot. In addition, today I teach in my lessons the creation of educational media products, methods and means of their effective transmission and reception, as well as media programs used to create high quality and low volume materials. In short, I am glad to be a member of the project.
